Our Service:
Make Movements provides an online booking service that delivers various mobile treatments and therapies to your home, workplace or event.

 

  1. Agreement:
    These are the terms and conditions which govern your use of our website www.makemovements.co.uk and any of our social media platforms. These terms create a legally binding agreement between you and us. By accessing or using the Service, Website and Social Media platforms you accept these terms and conditions and agree to use the Service, Website and Social Media platforms in accordance with these Terms. As a user of the Service, you agree to provide us with complete and accurate information and to update such information to keep it accurate, current and complete. You understand that any personal information you provide will be treated in accordance with Make Movements privacy and GDPR policy.

 

  1. Authority:
    As a condition of your use of the Service, Website and Social Media, you warrant that you are aged 18 or over and have the right, authority and capacity to enter into these terms or, if you are aged between 13 and 17, you have obtained the consent of your parent or legal guardian. If you are aged less than 13 you are prohibited from using the Service, Website and Social Media.

 

  1. Health Screening:
    Our service is all about promoting our client’s wellbeing and health, with this in mind all users of our service agree to provide complete, up to date and accurate information. This assures that there are no contraindications to treatment. In turn keeping you safe and honouring our duty of care.

 

  1. Online Consent:
    Our online signature creates a legally binding contract that states the information you have provided refers to you and is recorded accurately to the best of your ability. Your signature signifies consent for your chosen treatment and that you have the authority and capacity to enter into these terms.

 

  1. Privacy:
    We hold privacy and confidentiality in the highest regard which is why we utilise all the up-to-date security measures to maintain online security. Rest assured your personal information will be treated in accordance with Make Movements’ privacy policy below.

 

Website Visitors:

Like most website operators, Make Movements collects non-personally-identifying information of the sort that web browsers and servers typically make available, such as the browser type, language preference, referring site, and the date and time of each visitor request. Make Movements’ purpose in collecting non-personally identifying information is to better understand how Make Movements’ visitors use its website. From time to time, Make Movements may release non-personally-identifying information in the aggregate, e.g., by publishing a report on trends in the usage of its website. Make Movements also collects potentially personally-identifying information like Internet Protocol (IP) addresses for logged in users and for users leaving comments on makemovements.co.uk blogs/sites. Make Movements only discloses logged in user and commenter IP addresses under the same circumstances that it uses and discloses personally-identifying information as described below, except that commenter IP addresses and email addresses are visible and disclosed to the administrators of the blog/site where the comment was left.

  1. Cancellation:
    We understand that life can be hectic and arrangements can change at the drop of a hat, which is why we try to be as accommodating as possible. We will do our best to reschedule your treatment and fit in with your new schedule, we just need you to provide us with some notice.

 

Residential cancellation: 

  • 100% refund with 48+ hours notice

  • Refunds will be made within 14 days of cancellation


Corporate cancellations: 

  • 100% refund with 7+ days notice

  • Refunds will be made within 14 days of cancellation

 

  1. Therapist Lateness:
    As we provide a mobile service, traffic can sometimes be challenging and at times cause us to be late. We shall always update you with potential delays and if your happy to start no more than 30 minutes later then the full cost will still apply. However if you are unable to work around a delay of a 30+ minutes delay, the treatment will be cancelled and a full refund will be made.

 

  1. Out of Area treatments:
    A supplementary fee will be applied to “Out of Area” treatments, this is at the discretion of Make Movements.

  2. Coronavirus 2019 policy and procedure

    Therapist health checks

    In order to safeguard against the transmission of Covid-19, all Make Movement therapists will be recording their personal temperature, resting heart rate, lung function and sense of taste and smell in Accordance with the NHS. Testing all of the above can be an indicator of whether or not a person has contracted the virus. We have baseline recordings and will be tested daily, to provide insights of potential symptoms and nullify any risk of transmission.

    Client Health Checks

    We require all clients (and anyone in your household) to make sure you have been symptom free for at least 14 days at the time of the treatment. This includes being clear of a tickly throat, a coughs, sneezing episodes, a high temperature or loss of taste or smell.

    Towel policy

    We require all clients to provide their own towels for treatment. This will remove the possibility of transmission.

    Treatment intervals 

    We will be building in a pit-stop between treatments, which will include re-sanitising car surfaces, couch surfaces and equipment used. Our massage therapists will also be showering and wearing fresh uniform for each appointment.

    Reduced appointments

    We will be limiting our treatments to three appointments a day, with a 3-hour interval separating them. This will provide the previously discussed pit-stop time.

    Treatment system

    Before the treatment begins, our therapist will be sanitising all equipment and local surfaces in the near vicinity. This will include the use of antibacterial sprays, universal wipes and paper roll. These measures will also be carried out at the end of your treatment, in which all the disposables will be left in a biodegradable plastic bag for you to add any other waste.

    Appointment duration increase

    By virtue of the treatment system process, your appointment will be approximately 10 minutes longer in duration.

     Use of PPE

    All our therapists can wear both of the above in accordance with government guidelines and client requests

Additional Massage Subscriptions Terms & Conditions

  • Payment taken in advance

  • All packages are part of a 30-day rolling contract. Cancel with 30 days notice of last payment

  • 30-day notice period means that notice can be given on any day of the month and the period will then terminate in 30 days‘ time

  • Any request for membership cancellation can be done by phoning 07938 946 470 and leaving a message or emailing info@makemovements.co.uk

  • All massage subscription treatments are transferable, subject to recipient living in a 6-mile radius of Caterham

  • Monthly treatment must be used in allocated calendar month, otherwise treatment will expire.

RENEWAL OF AGREEMENT

Make Movements reserves the right to terminate or refuse to renew your agreement for any reason not prohibited by law including, but not limited to, an unsatisfactory payment history. Make Movements reserves the right to collect at any time any delinquent or outstanding balance(s) that has not been paid for any services provided or monthly payments owed. For purposes of identification and billing, you agree to provide the service provider with current, accurate, complete, and updated information including your name, address, telephone number, and applicable payment data. You agree to notify Make Movements promptly of any changes in your information, including your payment data.

SERVICE DETAILS AND REQUIREMENTS

The services provided are not a replacement for medical care and should not be construed as a substitute for medical examination, diagnosis, or treatment, that no medical diagnosis will be made, and that you should see a medical provider for any medical issues you may have. It is your responsibility to inform the service provider of any pre-existing conditions, limitations or sensitivities.

If you do experience discomfort or pain or are uncomfortable for any reason during a service, you agree to immediately ask the therapist to adjust the manipulation, draping, pressure, heat, or environment (or, if you prefer, you can ask the therapist to end the service at any time). If the therapist is unable to relieve your discomfort after you request an adjustment, you will inform the therapist you would like to end the service immediately. If you have any concerns about your therapist, you agree to bring it to the attention of the service provider immediately following your service. Inappropriate or illegal conduct will not be tolerated in any manner. The service provider may, in its sole discretion, refuse or discontinue a service if it determines such service may be unsafe or cause discomfort for you or if you engage in any inappropriate conduct as determined by the service provider in its sole discretion.
