Established in 2019, Make Movements brings health and wellbeing to your doorstep…
The founder
Christian Jolley is a fully-qualified Physiotherapist and Massage Therapist, registered with the HCPC. He holds all up-to-date qualifications needed to practise the profession in the UK, including a first-class honours degree in Physiotherapy.
He decided to train as a Physio because of his love for health and wellbeing. Plus, his background as an ex-professional football player has provided him a great insight into body conditioning, injury prevention and rehabilitation.
Christian also has a Diploma in Fitness having undertaken an intensive course via Premier Training International, a leading health and fitness industry training provider. So can advise on the right exercises to support you back to health.
Nowadays, every day in his profession is different. One day he could be helping a two-times marathon runner rehabilitate from a chronic tendon issue. The next? Aiding an office worker with postural issues by collaborating both massage therapy and exercises.
“I’m a real advocate of both movement and massage and understand that we are all striving to be the best versions of ourselves,” he says. “I am here to help and provide that all important ‘you’ time and get you back to moving.
Jade Taylor
Jade Taylor is a qualified Sports Massage Therapist with extensive knowledge in Sports and Exercise Science. Graduating with a first-class honours degree, she is able to apply her strong foundation of physiology and biomechanics to her massage practice.
Her enthusiasm for promoting a ‘healthy body healthy mind lifestyle’ led her to pursue a sports massage qualification. Having competed in a variety of sports from a young age and experiencing the ups and downs of injuries, Jade developed a strong interest in injury prevention and body maintenance. This helps people perform their best and go about their daily lives problem-free.
Jade’s main focus is on working with women. Whether it be helping mothers manage shoulder pain, assisting office workers with back and neck tension, or preparing female athletes for competition, Jade is dedicated to addressing each woman’s unique needs. Through her work, she aims to empower women to take an active role in their health and well-being.
“During my studies, I developed an interest in women’s health and how our bodies naturally fluctuate over time. In addition to providing sports massages, I am committed to helping others recognise how these changes can influence performance, offering insights to manage and optimise their physical well-being”.
